What personally identifiable information is collected through our site?
Advanced Personnel Services Ltd is a leader in the development of the emloyment industry in New Zealand with the implementation of our on-line registration.
Because our web site has areas where individuals can provide identifying information, we have developed the Privacy Statement below to inform web site Applicants of our policies and practices regarding such information.

Advanced Personnel Services Ltd receives identifying information from some Applicants to our Website and only for a set purpose.
    Typically, identifying information is collected:
  • As registration data when submitting resumes.
  • To allow us to respond to Applicants’ inquiries for further information.
  • To distribute requested reference materials.
The personally identifying information collected will consist of basic contact information: Name, Title, company address, email address, and telephone and fax numbers. Other demographic information, such as gender and occupation may be submitted when an Applicant responds to an online job registration. It is Advanced Personnel Services Ltd policy to limit the information collected to the minimum information required to fulfil an Applicant’s request for employment registration. In any instance where non-mandatory information is sought, the Website Applicant will be notified of this at the point of collection.

Applicants are also able to send email through the site. Their messages will contain the user’s screen name and email address, as well as any additional information the user may wish to include in the message. Because we use the Website as a recruiting tool, a visit to the Website may also result in the user sending a resume to an individual within Advanced Personnel Services Ltd.

Advanced Personnel Services Ltd policy is not to seek any sensitive information through our Website unless legally required for recruiting purposes.
    Sensitive information includes a number of types of data relating to:

This data is not shared with a third party, unless otherwise disclosed at the point of collection. If there is an instance where such information may be shared, the Applicant will be asked for permission beforehand. Advanced Personnel Services Ltd makes every practical effort to avoid excessive or irrelevant collection of data. If a Applicant believes the site has collected excessive information, we encourage the Applicant to contact us at privacy@advancedpersonnel.co.nz to raise any concerns.

Except for the mailing list initiative described above, where Applicants explicitly choose to receive specific Advanced Personnel Services Ltd’ marketing or other materials, Advanced Personnel Services Ltd will not use personal data collected from our Websites to facilitate unsolicited marketing activities.

Resumes are disposed of when they are considered dated by our Human Resources departments.
